What you can expect from this role

  • 27 bed unit with 5 chest pain beds

  • Pediatric Level 2 Trauma Center

  • Team-based nursing model (1:4-6 ratio)

  • Responsible for ensuring patient care needs are met through effective management of staffing resources and operations

  • Assists or May be Responsible for scheduling, communication, and clinical decision making. Works with staff to promote resolution of conflicts and counsels staff when clinical practice standards are not met

  • Assists with budget planning and clinical needs assessments

  • Responsible for training or assignment of training

  • Dedicated ED pharmacist and 24-hour social worker

  • Continuing education scholarships - including conferences, certification, licensure

  • Safe working environment reinforced by all team members

  • Certification pay available

  • Full-time (0.9 FTE), day shift opening

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's of Nursing Degree

  • Experience: 3 years' experience

  • Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Safety and Health Institute, American Heart Association, or American Red Cross.
