By working as a SSD Telemetry and Data Science Intern, you'll have the opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of Micron's capabilities and technologies in the enterprise SSD space. Under the guidance of an experienced SSD Telemetry and Validation Architect, you'll work with and learn about cloud data analytics, SSD architecture, performance testing and server automation. Our goal is to offer hands-on and meaningful engineering projects that allows interns to gain valuable experience with enterprise SSD’s while adding impact to Micron’s business. Our intern program helps prepare engineers for future roles and offer an extraordinary experience that supplements your academic experience!
Responsibilities:
In this role your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
Programming, scripting, and automation of configuration changes, software deployments, health monitoring, and data aggregation into cloud databases.
Analyze large, cloud-based data sets looking for patterns, exceptions, and anomalies. Build reports and automate detection.
Build and automate real world SSD workloads.
Successful candidates for this position will have:
Experience working with cloud service technologies (e.g. GCP, AWS, etc.)
Familiarity with C/C++, Python, scripting and/or SQL.
Excellent analytical, decision making and problem-solving skills
The ability to work in a diverse and fast-paced team environment.
Ability to manage time and priorities effectively.
Self-motivation and enthusiasm.
Education:
Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent degree.
Expect to graduate in Fall 2025 or Spring 2026.
