Embark on an exceptional journey with Micron's HBM Product Engineering Internship in Boise, ID. Our ambitious environment will enable you to rapidly grow your skills and successfully implement innovative solutions in High Bandwidth Memory (HBM) technology.

As an HBM Product Engineering Intern, you will be pivotal in developing JEDEC-HBM or alternative Near Memory DRAM solutions. Your role will involve the implementation of groundbreaking 2.5D and 3D solutions from an electrical and packaging standpoint. You will act as a key interface between Research and Development, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Quality Assurance departments, ensuring Micron remains the most cost-effective producer of DRAM memory.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement JEDEC-HBM and Near Memory DRAM solutions.

  • Innovate 2.5D and 3D solution designs from electrical and packaging perspectives.

  • Collaborate with Research and Development, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Quality Assurance departments.

  • Perform debugging and qualification techniques for various tests.

  • Contribute to developing the lowest power per bit solutions for ML and AI applications.

  • Engage in the vertical integration of end-to-end front-end and back-end processes.

Job Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

  • will not graduate before fall 2025.

  • Strong understanding of DRAM memory and HBM technology.

  • Proven skills in electrical and packaging design.

  • Ability to successfully implement and debug various testing techniques.

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

  • Ambitious approach with a desire to work in a diverse, inclusive environment.
