Shift: M-F Days

Pay rate: $24+/hr., DOE

Location: Boise, ID

Position Type: Full Time

Benefits: This position is eligible for WGNSTAR’s full benefits package, including Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k). Additional benefits are listed at the end of this posting.  

The principal duties and responsibilities will be:

  • Document all Gas Service work orders, inventory, and associated gas component items following established procedures

  • Operate, repair, perform maintenance, and qualification of ultra-pure and bulk gas systems

  •  Complete required customer-provided safety training within specified time

  •  Adhere to company and OSHA safety requirements

  • Trouble shoot and determine the cause of equipment alarms under the supervision of more senior technician

Requirements:

  • Ability to certify for air purifying respirators (APR) and self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA)

  • Possess basic electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic technical troubleshooting skills

  • Familiar with the of use basic hand and power tools

  • Ability to use a multimeter and troubleshoot electrical circuits

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, process flow and instrumentation drawings, and electrical schematics

  • Basic understanding of programmable logic controllers (PLC)

  • Basic understanding of statistics and statistical process control (SPC)

  • AA or 30 college credits or military equivalent

Physical Effort/Activities:

May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, ability to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50 pounds. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
