St. Luke's Health System Facility Architect in Boise, Idaho

What You Can Expect:

  • This is an exempt status role

  • The Facility Architect manages the professionals in the design of buildings and structures that may include alterations or repairs.

  • Provide preliminary plans, space planning, facility master planning, and cost estimating for remodels and new construction projects.

  • Considers the impact within the local environment.

  • Works closely with stakeholders.

  • Resolves issues during construction.

  • Acts as the liaison to outside architectural firms, engineering firms, and building officials.

  • Responsible for interpretation and application of codes and accrediting bodies criteria.

  • Provide leadership, guidance, counseling and continuing education to staff. Select, develop, coach, mentor, and assess performance of staff. Works with staff to promote resolution of conflict and counsels staff when standards are not met.

  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  • Additional duties may include:

  • Establish scope, schedule, and budget

  • Coordinate IHT/ SC/ FFE

  • Work in conjunction with PM/CM/BSD/APMO4

  • Manage permitting and AHJ's

  • Standards Committee

  • Manage PM Manual

  • Develop processes/procedures

  • Increase use of Procore

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Architecture

  • Experience: 5 years experience as an Architect

  • Licenses/Certifications: Licensed as an Architect in the State of Practice
