Our client, a leading chemical manufacturer, is seeking a skilled Environmental Engineer to join their team near Boise, ID! This individual would be responsible for overseeing and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, promoting public health and welfare, and supporting the company’s environmental objectives.

Location: Boise, Idaho area – (offers strong relocation package)

Job type: Fully onsite

Salary: $90k- $120k annually , full benefits

Additional Responsibilities:

• Ensure daily operations align with environmental regulations (air, water, waste).

• Collect, record, and analyze environmental monitoring data as required by permits.

• Prepare environmental reports and notifications in compliance with regulations.

• Assist with environmental permit applications for existing and new processes.

• Evaluate and recommend improvements to minimize environmental impacts and ensure compliance.

• Investigate and address environmental concerns from internal departments.

• Develop and deliver environmental training as needed.

• Demonstrate leadership skills, time management, and the ability to prioritize tasks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment- oil, gas, pulp, paper, etc.

• Familiarity with EPA regulations and environmental compliance standards.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Experience in water treatment, oil & gas, or pulp and paper industries is a plus.
