As an Equipment Engineering Technician at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of all engineering interface systems including printed circuit boards, mechanical fixtures, probe cards, device interface boards and sockets. You will also be required to track prices and coordinate distribution of the products developed by the team.

Responsibilities:

Additional responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing electronic hardware.

  • Perform preventative maintenance and system calibrations on equipment as assigned.

  • Assembly, troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing of all PCBs and mechanical fixtures used on the engineering systems at Micron.

  • Maintain component inventory levels of all items used in the duties listed above.

  • Soldering, through-hole and surface mount components.

  • Timely support for all customer requests.

Qualifications:

Successful candidates for this position will have:

  • The ability to read and interpret schematics and navigate through PCB layout designs

  • Must be able to manage an extremely large and diverse workload which changes constantly

  • The ability to work well as part of a team, maintaining a positive “can-do” attitude

  • Excellent fine pitch soldering skills

  • Very strong troubleshooting skills

  • Proficiency with hand tools and basic troubleshooting tools including Oscilloscopes and Digital Multi-Meters

  • Experience with AutoCAD (preferred but not required)

Education :

Associates Degree in Electronics or a related field or equivalent experience
