Salary: Salary depends on experience (DOE); Starting at $90,000 to DOE

Location: Boise, Idaho. As Idaho’s capital, Boise is a growing city and serves as headquarters for several major national and international corporations. Boise offers a rich variety of both cultural and recreational opportunities. Idaho’s world-famous fly-fishing, skiing, kayaking and hiking are all within easy access.
Primary Duties: The successful applicant will be responsible for representing the Idaho Transportation Department in construction litigation, eminent domain proceedings and other complex commercial litigation. The practice involves an extensive motion and trial practice in district court. The attorney will also provide day-to-day legal advice to department employees on a variety of legal issues, evaluate draft legislation, contracts and proposed administrative rules, and handle administrative appeals filed by contractors and other parties.
The general areas of practice are transportation, property, construction and contract law which often involve constitutional and statutory interpretation.
Minimum Qualifications: Admission to the Idaho State Bar. Experience in state and federal courts and administrative proceedings. Ability to handle a large civil litigation caseload.
Preferred Qualifications: Five or more years of experience in civil litigation is preferred.
