Example of Duties:
Oversee a team that schedules, arranges, and documents all board, commission, and committee meetings by ensuring compliance with legal and Division requirements for: noticing meetings, generating and posting meeting agendas and minutes, and compiling and publishing meeting materials; arranging board member travel and submitting reimbursement requests; and ensuring that meetings proceed in an organized manner.
Evaluate board support staff and program to identify and facilitate training opportunities and program improvements.
Ensure appropriate communication between board members and Division staff/leadership; ensure that the boards operate according to their statutes, rules, and policies; and facilitate appropriate and effective communication between the boards and stakeholders, state government, and the public.
Perform various functions supporting regulatory boards, including setting up board meetings, generating and posting agendas, compiling and distributing agenda materials, and drafting and publishing meeting minutes.
Track Board member terms and appointments.
Minimum Qualifications:
Some knowledge of management practices.
Experience: developing procedures and/or monitoring a budget; supervising staff; providing liaison with customer/provider groups; interpreting federal or state regulations.
Minimum Qualification Specialties:
Interpreting and applying rules, policies, and procedures related to program operations to ensure compliance with state and federal laws.
Performing training needs assessment, developing curriculum, and presenting and evaluating training
