Company Overview: our client is a leading heavy machinery company in Bohemia, NY, specializing in the repair, maintenance, and operation of hydraulic systems for construction and industrial equipment. We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Technician to join our client's dynamic team and support the maintenance and repair of their machinery. Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a hydraulic technician, mechanic, or in a related role.

• understanding of hydraulic systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.

• Ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics and technical documentation.

• Experience working with heavy machinery (construction, industrial, or agricultural equipment).

• mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

• Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision.

• Must be physically fit and capable of lifting heavy components when necessary.

salary: $52,000 - $62,400 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic systems on heavy machinery, including excavators, loaders, forklifts, and other industrial equipment.

• Perform routine maintenance, including inspection of hoses, pumps, valves, motors, and cylinders.

• Test and adjust hydraulic systems for optimal performance and efficiency.

• Read and interpret hydraulic schematics and technical manuals to identify issues and determine solutions.

• Replace worn or defective parts, ensuring all components are up to standard.

• Assist in the installation and setup of hydraulic systems on new equipment.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and repairs.

• Work closely with other technicians and engineers to address any complex mechanical issues.
