Job duties include:
- Manage and upgrade data pipelines for collecting, processing, and storing diverse data from various sources.
- Design and refine data structures for efficient storage, retrieval, and analysis, collaborating closely with other data experts.
- Develop and optimize ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data into storage systems effectively.
- Write and refine code to organize and prepare raw data for analysis and reporting.
- Implement and uphold data quality standards to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency across systems.
- Identify and resolve slowdowns in data pipelines, storage, or processing to enhance efficiency.
- Integrate data from various sources to create unified datasets for reporting and analysis.
- Monitor data pipelines and workflows to ensure reliability, availability, and scalability, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
- Document data engineering processes, workflows, and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as data scientists and business stakeholders, to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Communicate technical details effectively to ensure understanding across teams.
- Implement data security measures and ensure compliance with relevant regulations to safeguard sensitive data and maintain privacy.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, Engg or related with at least 60 months of experience. Salary ranges between $147,222.00 to $152,000.00/year. Travel and relocation to various unanticipated client locations throughout the United States may be required. Equal Opportunity Employer.
