We are actively seeking an experienced structured products salesperson to join our team and focus on new and existing account relationships to increase sales and distribution. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success combined with strong industry relationships. We are looking for someone that is self-motivated, enthusiastic and team oriented with in depth knowledge and understanding of fixed income sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Sell and distribute structured products across an array of business channels(RIAs, FA’s, Family Offices, Banks, BDs etc.).

  • Profile and target new account relationships in structured products.

  • Work directly with the trading desk customizing various structures that fit clients’ objectives.

  • Focused on selling both new issues and secondary inventory positions.

  • Work with Mesirow’s Wealth Advisors to sell products to their clients.

  • Work with the trading desk in presentations and education of structured products to targeted advisors.

  • Provide exceptional sales service and the ability to travel when needed.

  • Perform other job-related tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Must have 5+ years’ experience selling structured products to accounts.

  • Bachelor’s Degree and FINRA Series 7 & 63 licenses.

  • Established list of account and industry relationships.

  • Strong knowledge and experience of structured products and fixed income sales.

  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding revenue targets.

  • Possess excellent analytical, problem solving, communication and negotiation skills.

  • Participation in working collaboratively with trading desks on improving workflows and implementing new processes.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office(Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Bloomberg, Simon, Salesforce, and other CRM systems.

  • Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and the ability to thrive and exceed goals in a fast-paced environment.
