Job Title: Inventory Clerk

Job Description

This position is responsible for ensuring product quality and appropriate inspection of aviation parts.

Responsibilities

• Process daily inspections and receipts in warehouse management customer systems.

• Prepare and endorse material certification in accordance with established quality standards.

• Ensure all customer requirements are followed.

• Support and perform Quality Management audits.

• Prevent the occurrence of product nonconformity.

• Package goods for hazardous shipments.

• Maintain and create FAA documents for approvals.

• Make decisions to avoid disturbances with customers.

• Report all non-conformities or process irregularities.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of inspection experience in an aviation environment, performing quality inspection functions.

• High school graduate.

• Advanced knowledge of aviation parts and quality requirements, specifically with both Domestic and Foreign Airworthiness Regulations.

• Expert comprehension of aerospace quality inspection.

• Experience with QA documentation within aerospace/aviation parts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience with 8130 forms is helpful.

• Familiarity with aviation traceability and designated airworthiness reports (DAR).

• Experience with SAP and inbound visual inspections.

• Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds unassisted and heavier loads with assistance.

• Ability to climb, bend, squat, reach, grasp and lift.

Work Environment

The work environment is a warehouse setting with 11 inspectors across levels 1-3. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 1st shift from 10 am to 6:30 pm. The warehouse is fully air-conditioned. The dress code includes jeans or khaki pants, a plain t-shirt, and black closed-toe shoes. Uniforms will be provided after the first week at no cost.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of BOCA RATON, Florida.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00
