Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The perfect candidate will have essential data entry skills, like fast typing, an eye for detail, and familiarity with spreadsheets and online forms. You will work with a data team and the Data Manager. Previous experience as a data entry clerk or similar position will be considered an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Typing in data provided directly from customers or other parties, creating consistent and efficient data files.

• To prepare, compile, and sort documents for the purpose of data entry.

• Verify data by comparing it to source documents.

• Update existing data and delete unnecessary files.

• Combine and rearrange data from source documents where required.

• Enter data from source documents into prescribed computer database.

• Check completed work for accuracy and make any required changes immediately.

• Review and verify data entries and corrections.

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and useable information in systems.

  Requirements

Requirements:

• Proven experience as data entry clerk.

• Fast typing skills with a keen eye for detail.

• Proficient in using MS Office and data programs.

• Must have good written and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

• Good organization skills.

• Ability to work to time constraints.

• High school diploma; additional computer training or certification will be an asset.
