Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Cost Accounting Manager to join our team in Boca Raton, Florida. In this role, you will be primarily focused on overseeing cost accounting operations in a construction setting. You will play a critical role in managing cost accounting functions, optimizing budget processes, and implementing ERP solutions in our operations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all cost accounting operations within the organization

• Implement and maintain large ERP systems for efficient cost management

• Utilize Hyperion Technologies, About Time, and other tools for efficient execution of accounting functions

• Conduct cost analysis, cost control, and cost management to optimize financial operations

• Develop cost models and perform cost variance analysis to ensure budget adherence

• Prepare cost estimates and manage manufacturing cost accounting

• Execute standard cost accounting functions and manage standard cost systems

• Use activity-based costing techniques for precise cost allocation

• Utilize cost optimization strategies to reduce operating costs

• Develop and manage project cost, product costing, and target costing strategies. Requirements

Bachelor degree in Accounting/related

5+ years of experience in cost accounting position

• Must possess a strong understanding of cost accounting principles and practices

• Must be able to use ERP Solutions and Hyperion Technologies effectively

• Familiarity with 'About Time' and other Accounting Functions is needed

• Knowledge of Activity Based Costing, Cost - Standard, and Cost Allocation is required

• Ability to carry out Cost Analysis, manage Cost Centers, and ensure Cost Control

• Must have experience in Cost Management, developing Cost Models, and Cost Optimization

• Should be able to handle Cost Variance, COST-OF-GOODS, COST-OF-SALE, and Cost-per-hire

• Experience in COST-TO-COMPLETION, Job Cost, Life Cycle Cost, and Lower Costs is necessary

• Familiarity with Standard Cost Accounting, Standard Cost System, and Standard Costing is needed
