Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Specialist in Boca Raton, Florida. This role is situated in a quiet office and involves managing transactions entries, catching up on taxes, and bookkeeping duties. You will be working with various accounting software systems and will be expected to be on-site most days.

Responsibilities include:

• Processing and maintaining customer credit applications and records

• Monitoring customer credit accounts and taking appropriate action to collect overdue payments

• Using accounting software systems, including ADP - Financial Services, Concur, Great Plains (GPAC), and Microsoft Excel

• Performing various accounting functions such as Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Handling billing functions and check processing using MS Great Plains Accounting and MS Great Plains Dynamics

• Managing transactions entries and catching up on taxes from previous months

• Performing bookkeeping duties and managing small entities

• Working onsite and contributing to the smooth running of a quiet office environment

• Assisting in recovery measures after cyber attacks and ensuring financial data is secure and up-to-date. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services

• Experience with Concur

• Knowledge of Great Plains (GPAC)

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Billing Functions

• Proficiency in Check Processing

• Experience with MS Great Plains Accounting

• Knowledge of MS Great Plains Dynamics
