Mercy Health Physicians Youngstown Specialty Care LLC, a part of Bon Secours Mercy Health, Inc., has multiple openings for OB/GYN Physicians in Boardman, OH and the immediate surrounding area.
Diagnose, treat, and help prevent diseases of women, particularly those affecting the reproductive system. Provide general care to women as well as both medical and gynecological surgery functions. Analyze records, reports, test results, or examination information to diagnose medical condition of patients. Perform cesarean sections or other surgical procedures, as needed, to preserve patients' health and deliver babies safely. Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical histories, reports, or examination results. Prescribe or administer therapy, medication, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury. Monitor patients' conditions and progress and reevaluate treatments, as necessary. Prepare and maintain proper medical records and such other reports as may be required by MHPYSC in accordance with the policies, standards and requirements and federal regulations.
Schedule/Travel: 5 weeks on, 3 weeks off. 12-hour shifts. At least 182 shifts per year. Will require travel within a 15-mile radius to cover other system locations on an as needed basis less than 5% of time. Expected to take call for own patients or participate in call groups to cover need.
Requirements:* *MD or DO (or foreign equivalent); Graduate of accredited Obstetrics & Gynecology Residency Program; Unresticted Ohio Medical License; and Unrestricted DEA registration.
