Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Bluffton, South Carolina. The selected candidate will be a vital part of our team, performing various tasks related to accounts payable and general accounting. The role involves dealing with customer credit applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate processing and efficient management of customer credit applications.

• Maintenance and updating of customer credit records.

• Regular monitoring of customer accounts and taking appropriate actions as required.

• Assisting in the preparation of contract documents.

• Managing accounts payable and receivable.

• Processing trade applications for payments.

• Reviewing invoices in collaboration with Project Managers.

• Assisting with customer change orders and updating budgets accordingly.

• Ensuring accurate data entry and invoice processing.

• Utilizing software such as QuickBooks, Oracle, and SAP for various accounting tasks. Requirements • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role as an Accounts Payable Clerk

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Demonstrated ability to carry out Account Reconciliation

• Familiarity with Check Runs and Coding Invoices procedures

• Capability to perform Data Entry tasks with high accuracy

• Experience in Invoice Processing

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Working knowledge of Oracle

• Familiarity with QuickBooks, SAP, QuickBooks Pro, Quickbooks Online, QuickBooks Enterprise, and Quickbooks Premier

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
