Montgomery County Community College Hospitality Institute Program Coordinator in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania
Montgomery County Community College invites applications for the Hospitality Institute Program Coordinator position. The Hospitality Institute Program Coordinator is responsible for providing a range of services to enhance the efficiency and administration of the daily operation of the Hospitality Institute. Reports to the Director of the Hospitality Institute. This key position will coordinate all the non-credit offerings including summer camps, teambuilding, etc. This role will attend area school recruitment events and assist the director with daily administrative tasks. A Program Coordinator is a multifaceted role that involves overseeing various aspects of program planning, implementation, and evaluation.
This role works with professional staff, faculty, and students at the Hospitality Institute.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Education/Training/Work Experience:
• 2-3 years of Professional experience as an educator
• Bachelor's degree required -- preferred in the culinary, restaurant, food service, or hospitality industry
• Position requires morning, evening, and weekend availability to attend special events internally and externally.
• Must have a valid driver's license and drive to & from destinations
• Demonstrated ability to work with a variety of technologies, including data management systems, learning management systems, and MS Office suite
