Robert Half Payroll Specialist in Bloomington, Minnesota

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Specialist in Bloomington, Minnesota. As a Payroll Specialist, you will primarily focus on payroll processing across multiple states, supporting employees, and handling the payroll system. This role is pivotal in maintaining the smooth operation and efficiency of our payroll functions.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately processing and managing full cycle payroll for multiple states

• Handling discrepancies in payroll and rectifying any errors in the system

• Supporting and managing employees regarding payroll-related concerns

• Prepping all necessary data and documents for payroll processing

• Administering employee benefits through the ADP portal

• Conducting audit checks to ensure accuracy and compliance in payroll and benefits administration

• Overseeing leave administration and ensuring it aligns with company policies

• Assisting with year-end tasks and 401k administration

• Utilizing skills in ADP Workforce Now, 401k - RRSP Administration, About Time, Auditing, Benefit Functions, ADP - Payroll, Benefits Payroll, bi-Monthly Payroll, Canadian Payroll, Benefits Administration, Benefit Packages, Compensation & Benefits. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar role.

• Proficient in using ADP Workforce Now software.

• Expertise in 401k and RRSP Administration.

• Familiar with About Time software.

• Experience in auditing payroll and employee records.

• Knowledge of Benefit Functions is necessary.

• Experience with ADP - Payroll is crucial.

• Familiarity with Benefits Payroll.

• Experience in conducting bi-Monthly Payroll.

• Proficiency in Canadian Payroll is a plus.

• Experience in Benefits Administration.

• Familiarity with various Benefit Packages.

• Understanding of Compensation & Benefits policies and procedures.
