Skywater Technology Foundry Defect Technician Senior in Bloomington, Minnesota
This Defect Technician will evaluate and disposition problem product lots and investigate corrective actions. If you have an interest in supporting continuous improvement projects, this job is for you! Responsibilities: Reject Validation for visual mechanical defects on package units and equipment sustaining and programming (recipe writing) tasks across a fleet of Defect metrology tools. Evaluate / disposition problem product lots that fail defect inspection. Image defects using scanning electron microscope (SEM) to characterize observed defects. Instigate and participate in scrapped product corrective action procedures. Assist the Engineering leads in equipment restriction and qualification tasks. Assist in creating defect inspection tool recipes. General operation of semiconductor defect metrology tools: SEM/AIT/KLA/SP1/EV300/1X . Respond to tool issues / basic troubleshooting.
