Description

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a senior technical accountant. As a technical accountant, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining accounting policies and fiscal controls, preparing financial reports, and safeguarding our organization's assets. You will also be responsible for optimizing the effectiveness of financial applications and handling basic accounting duties under direct supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain accounting policies and fiscal controls

• Prepare financial reports to safeguard our organization's assets

• Review and create standard accounting report packages

• Contribute to new setup and changes in existing financial applications to optimize effectiveness

• Handle basic accounting duties under direct supervision

• Maintain accurate accounting and financial records and reports

• Handle basic issues and problems, escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff as needed

• Ensure compliance with established accounting principles and practices

• Perform ad hoc financial reviews and policy revisions as required

Requirements • Proficient understanding and application of Accounting Principles

• Ability to review and optimize financial practices within the organization

• Excellent skills in preparing and analyzing Financial Statements

• Demonstrated ability to perform Ad Hoc Financial tasks efficiently

• Proven experience in maintaining accurate Financial Records

• Strong understanding of fiscal policies and regulations

• Capable of coordinating with appropriate personnel for accounting functions

• Experience under Direct Supervision in a finance-related role

• Proficiency in preparing comprehensive Financial Reports

• Knowledge and experience in policy development and implementation within the finance department
