Technician IV – Process Engineering

The Technician IV, Process Engineering acts as the system owner for a vial/filling line. The role is responsible for troubleshooting and is focused on increasing ease of use and overall efficiency of systems and equipment.

This position works days; Monday – Friday

The Role

• Monitor and troubleshoot of critical systems

• Create/revise preventative maintenance checklist

• Support Maximo (CM/CMR/CC) workflow

• Interact with cross functional teams

• Effectively document work performed following required documentation practices

• Be available and respond to site as part of the on-call

• Escort and supervise contractors through facility for routine inspections or repairs, ensuring they complete activities per procedure or agreements

• Perform complex troubleshooting as it relates to assigned job duties; Identify and order spare or replacement parts for equipment utilizing inventory management system

• Work with shipping to send out equipment or standard for offsite vendor service and track status

• Contribute to the creation of maintenance and calibration procedures and update existing procedures to match best practices and lessons learned

• Assist with onboarding new equipment and retiring obsolete equipment

• Other duties as assigned

The Candidate

• Associate’s Degree or higher, preferred

• Technical Certificate, preferred

• 8+ years of relevant experience

• 3 years GMP experience, preferred

• Basic Mechanical and Electrical Skills and Education

• Basic hand tool skills

• Must be able to read and understand English-written job instructions and safety requirements
