Cook Medical Marketing Automation Intern in Bloomington, Indiana
Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Automation Intern to join our dynamic digital marketing team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marketing automation, digital marketing strategies, and data analysis. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about marketing technology and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment. This position is a 12-week paid internship. It is offered for a period extending from mid-May through mid-August (exact dates depend on school calendars.) This position includes 401(k) options, an assigned mentor, capstone presentation, and intern events. All internships provide hands-on experience with meaningful projects in the Medical Device Manufacturing Industry.
Responsibilities
Assist in the setup, testing, and execution of marketing automation campaigns across various platforms (e.g., email, social media, web).
Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
Help maintain and update the marketing database to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
Participate in brainstorming sessions for new campaign ideas and strategies.
Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for campaign improvement.
Assist with administrative tasks related to the marketing automation platform.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Computer science, or a related field.
Basic understanding of marketing principles and digital marketing strategies.
Familiarity with marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Mailchimp) is a plus.
Familiarity with customer relationship management tools (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Google Workspace.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
All candidates should have an interest in a career in the Life Sciences field, a willingness to take initiative, and an ability to work well with others.
Candidates should be students entering their Junior or Senior year the following fall semester or entering graduate school; candidates who graduate the spring semester before this internship are also eligible.
A minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred.
All candidates must provide proof of enrollment (including pre-registration certification for the following fall) for consideration.
