Position Overview:
The Java Software Developer is a technical, hands-on role responsible for designing and coding software applications using Java technologies.

Position Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using Java and related technologies
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices
Perform unit testing and evaluate “What-if” scenarios to ensure code is functional and robust
Coordinate with QA and other developers while debugging of software components to ensure their reliability and performance
S tay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously enhance your technical skills and knowledge
Review existing code, offering suggestions for improvement as needed
Position Requirements:
HS Diploma required. College degree preferred.
At least 3 years of experience developing Java applications preferred
Experience with web application development using Java-based technologies (Java EE, Servlets, JSP, etc.)
Proficiency in database technologies such as SQL and ORM frameworks
Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and build tools (Maven)
Understanding of data structures (XML/XSL/JSON) and their related parsing libraries
Knowledge of Software Development Best Practices
Basic understanding of networking principles
Strong written and oral communication skills are required
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Knowledge/ Experience:
General Knowledge: Programing Concepts, Data Structures, REST/SOAP, SQL
Java Knowledge : J2EE, Beans, JPA, JMS, WAR/JAR, MultiThreading, LOG4J, JDBC, JSP
Environment Knowledge: Apache Tomcat (Tomee a plus), Basic Linux, GIT, Eclipse, Maven
Disclaimer: The pay range for this position is $ 50,000 - $90,000 per year. When making a job offer, we consider several factors in our determination, such as years of related work experience; relevant skills and qualifications; education level; and certifications/licenses.
