Adecco US, Inc. Procurement Assistant in Bloomfield, Connecticut

Adecco is assisting a customer in Windsor who is recruiting for a Procurement Assistant.

The Sourcing Assistant is responsible for assisting the Sourcing Supervisor with daily duties in

conjunction with running the Purchasing Department, including purchasing, expediting purchase

orders, tracking production jobs, updating job trackers, vendor acknowledgements and other

miscellaneous tasks.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

? Purchasing, including both distribution and work in-process (WIP)

? Assures all purchase orders have correct pricing, part numbers and required dates.

? Assures all purchase orders are acknowledged by the factory and acknowledged dates are

entered into Trulinx.

? Enters purchase orders on vendor websites.

? Regularly assists Sourcing Supervisor with analyzing inventory levels.

? Expedites vendor purchase orders.

? Processes Return Material Authorizations (RMA).

? Communicates with vendors for special price quotes.

? Updates the job tracker.

? Updates and maintains the Streamline production tracker.

? Assists in organization and implementation of annual inventory count.

? Assists in maintaining Approved Supplier List (ASL)

? Assists other Managers with various duties as needed.

? Other duties as assigned

Pay Details: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour
