Purina is seeking an experienced Transport Coordinator. Join our dynamic team and take charge of coordinating our warehouse operations! As a key player, you will oversee both direct and indirect labor, ensuring the efficient allocation of equipment and resources for seamless inbound and outbound processes. Responsibilities:

  • Timely planning for meeting KPIs

  • Observe vehicle load weights and driver fatigue laws

  • Ensure timely deliveries

  • Maximize truck space utilization

  • Attain dispatch plan for export

  • Receive orders from Customer Service

  • File documentation

  • Complete local and export load plans

  • Verify weight limitations of truck loads

  • Perform data entry for operations documents

  • Coordinate planning and transport

  • Update Woolworths orders in TMS system daily

  • Ensure compliance with vehicle load weights

  • Meet customer delivery times within legislative requirements

  • Foster a customer-focused culture and address customer service failures promptly

Skills and Experience:

  • Skilled in motivating and coaching individuals at all levels

  • Strong drive to achieve results

  • Adherence to process and quality standards

  • Consistent application of standards and effective people management

  • 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, including electronic WMS systems

  • Customer service orientation

  • Understanding of supply chain relationships and the role of a distribution center in delivering high customer service standards

  • Proficient in project management (smaller scope)

  • Knowledge of WHS (Work Health and Safety) standards and their application

  • Experience in return to work and injury management

  • Ability to effectively manage contractors
