Nestle Event Coordinator- Supply Chain in Blayney, Australia

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a driven and experienced Supply Chain Event Coordinator to lead and manage all innovation, renovation, and repatriation projects for our allocated factories and receiving markets.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and timely processing of all projects, ultimately achieving on-time and in-full delivery to the market.

Your role will play a crucial part in improving efficiency and effectiveness in end-to-end coordination, prioritising cost, and working capital while driving full availability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, excellent project management skills, and a proven track record of delivering successful projects.

A day in the life

• Drive and lead end-to-end coordination of new product development, innovation, renovation, and repatriation projects with cross-functional teams.

• Evaluate risks and provide solutions for revised product launch dates and material write-offs.

• Ensure necessary information is available for stakeholders in the NPD/I2L process for decision making.

• Plan and achieve effective project management for new products, repatriation, and other projects.

• Communicate benefits of Event Management and enter events into the Project Bank.

• Analyse process decision points, allocate critical tasks, and monitor milestones.

• Maintain close liaison with all functions involved and resolve issues.

• Collaborate with factory and market teams for Regional MAR/Factory MPR preparation.

• Work with Factory MRP planners and Procurement Specialist for materials planning.

• Define lead-time and consider minimum order quantities for new launches in all markets.

• Lead or support supply and cost improvements with factory teams and regional supply chain development teams.

• Liaise with Nestlé Purina Petcare in Singapore, Factories, and Nestlé in Market (NiM) AU Planning teams for capacity planning.

What will make you successful

• Demonstrated relevant operational experience at market/business level is required.

• Experience in at least one of the following areas: Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Inno/Reno or Idea to Launch, Technical Application Group, Brand Management, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance

• Highly beneficial to have experience in Product Life Cycle process, Idea to Launch, and Project Management processes.

• Ability to plan and coordinate multiple aspects of an event, including logistics, timelines, and resources.

• Keen eye for detail to ensure all elements of the event are executed flawlessly.

• Effective communication with clients, vendors, and team members to ensure clear expectations and smooth coordination.

• Experience in creating and managing event budgets, including cost estimation, negotiation, and tracking expenses.

• Ability to source, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to secure the best services and products for the event.

• Efficiently manage time and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and ensure timely execution of the event.
