REDD MECHANICAL, INC. General Laborer in BLANDING, Utah
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in plumbing and ductwork installations.
- Check slopes for conformance to requirements using levels, lasers, grade rods, or transit levels.
- Cover pipes with earth or other materials.
- Connect pipe pieces and seal joints using welding equipment, cement, or glue.
- Cut pipes to required lengths.
- Operate and maintain hand tools and basic machinery, including small excavators and skid steers.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials and equipment.
- Help set up and clean up job sites, including organizing materials and removing debris.
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to complete projects on time.
- Conduct routine inspections of tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
Qualifications:
- Some experience in construction is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in various weather conditions.
- Familiarity with basic construction tools and equipment is a plus.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
- Effective communication skills and attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license is preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and perform manual labor.
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- Monday-Thursday (Occasional Friday)
Supplemental Pay:
- Overtime pay
