Job Title: Industrial Painter

Job Description

The Industrial Painter will be responsible for setting up paint mixes and racking parts in preparation for painting. This role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols while applying liquid paint to products.

Responsibilities

  • Help mask and prep parts for painting

  • Properly apply liquid paint to evenly cover products

  • Check parts for paint thickness, ensuring it is between 1-2 mm

  • Assist in other areas when the paint line is not busy

  • Wear proper PPE (respirator/face mask) while painting

  • Understand and use computers to schedule and complete jobs

Essential Skills

  • 1-2 years of industrial painting experience

  • Experience with paint prep, spray gun, and paint booth operations

  • Proficiency in using liquid paint

  • Familiarity with blasting and sandblasting techniques

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with Cerakote is preferred

  • Ability to work with computers

  • ITAR compliance

Work Environment

The work environment is a small, clean, and climate-controlled area with some of the nicest paint booths available. The dress code is casual, requiring a T-shirt, long pants, and closed-toed shoes. The position operates on a first shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

This is a Contract position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00
