The Digital Category Assistant is responsible for using data to drive strategic insights and executing Digital merchandising functions to achieve sales and improve business KPIs. They will use merchandising levers and tools to optimize digital experiences and provide analytically based recommendations to the Digital and Club Merchant teams.
Additional responsibilities include:
Pull insights from financial performance, digital shopping data and consumer trends to help guide assortment decisions and develop well merchandised pages, collections and events
Build out reports in Adobe Analytics centered around site and app performance (I..e search, navigation, etc.) to drive digital merchandising recommendations
Review digital category, promotion and vendor analytics and summarize findings to Digital Category Manager / Director
Execute digital merchandising and visual "shopping" responsibilities as needed
Act as a support conduit for Club Merchants, and effectively collaborates with all cross functional digital teams to translate assortment and category strategies online
Execute seasonal, promotional and strategic support for categories by managing eligible articles and robust QA of experiences and site content
Ensures assortment is aligned to chain strategy and optimized digitally
Evaluates business requests and provides data-driven recommendations
Takes initiative to identify efficiencies in processes, tools, and projects
Executes promotional or project-based needs on site and perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Ecommerce experience / passion
Strong relationship building skills
Expert in excel and analytics tools (Adobe, Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment
In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJ’s Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications. The pay range for this position is starting from $59,000.00.
