Are you looking for a position with a significant technical impact on a complete product portfolio? Join our dedicated MAGNA team serving the commercial building segment with integrated pump solutions.

At Grundfos, we develop state-of-the-art reliable, sustainable water management technology for private and commercial use. In this role, you will join the Commercial Building Service (CBS) Product Development team, dedicated to driving projects within Grundfos core products like MAGNA and MIXIT. Based on a substantial expansion of this strategically important area we are looking for an experienced Technical Product Owner with a solid project management mindset.

Set the direction of an important value stream

As Technical Product Owner, you are responsible for part of the portfolio and the road map within this area, deciding how to proceed with the development of our products. You are also accountable for maximizing the execution output of the development teams and ensuring that the product development backlog is fully aligned with the priorities of the product range.

You will be handling projects and activities for new product development, as well as activities related to maintaining the current product range e.g., updates or various footprint activities.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Set the direction and priorities of development activities for the product range.

  • Ensuring clear communication and a visible and transparent product backlog showing what the Scrum Teams will work on next.

  • Strong technical project management (quality, scope, budget, time, risk, etc.).

  • Developing a technical product lifecycle management plan.

  • Close collaboration with key stakeholders across the value chain as the Product Management, Purchasing, and Operation.

“You’ll find plenty of opportunity to leverage your technical skills as you play an important role in leading the development activities within the MAGNA and MIXIT product ranges,” says Head of CBS Product Development, Circulators and Boxed Solutions Henning Nørregaard Jensen.

Bring your technical leadership skills to the team

To excel in this position, a comprehensive understanding of technical disciplines like hydraulic, mechanical, electronics, and software is essential. You are familiar with setting a clear direction aligned with a product strategy and planning and leading the execution of development activities. You are excellent at prioritizing tasks together with your team and getting all on board based on a common understanding of product management decisions.

We will be looking for:

• a relevant technical master’s or bachelor’s degree

• excellent communication skills

• extensive project management experience

• familiar with stage-gate and agile methods

• comfortable with large complex projects and organizations
