The position primarily emphasizes Denmark and Hungary as the main locations. However, we are open to considering candidates who are located near any of our Grundfos offices, depending on their suitability and qualifications.

What is the job about?

As a Business Consultant, your primary responsibility is to fulfil the purpose of Portfolio Optimization & Excellence within our organization. This entails achieving an optimized project and product portfolio through the delivery of scale, capabilities, functional excellence, insights, and cost reductions across our end-to-end product life cycle.

Your role can be best described as that of an "internal management consultant." It involves addressing various analytical and problem-solving challenges within our Idea-to-Market framework, with the primary goal of generating insights to facilitate better decision-making and identifying opportunities for improved processes or more efficient service deliveries.

Your main responsibilities:

• Drive, coordinate, and implement business improvement projects within the E2E Business Development practice, acting as an internal management consultant. The goal is to continuously improve the framework from idea to development to market to phase-out (Idea-to-Market).

• The specific tasks may vary but typically involve 2-4 projects, which you may either lead or support. Initial focus areas include:

• Utilizing data analytics and AI to enhance efficiency. This involves identifying, refining, and implementing ideas to streamline service delivery and processes.

• Growing or supporting ongoing business improvement activities within the Idea-to-Market framework, such as 3PO analytical support, establishing a uniform front-end process, optimizing innovation status reporting, and providing analysis and strategy support to the senior innovation leaders in Grundfos

Indicators of success in this role include:

• Good implementation of new and updated processes and tools within the Idea-to-Market framework.

• Timely and high-quality analysis and deliverables.

• 1-3 years of relevant work experience in an industrial company.

• Experience in management consulting or business development in large industrial companies is a plus.

• Consultant experience gained through student work is also considered.

• Technical, functional, and professional:

• Great interest and insight into AI tools is required.

• Familiarity with big data processing tools is advantageous.

Additional requirements:

• Master's degree in Engineering or Management.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills.

• Highly organized with attention to detail.

• Effective stakeholder management and project management abilities.

• Effective written and verbal communication in English.

• Dynamic presentation skills.

• Resilient with the ability to handle high workloads.

• Proven ability to build trustful relationships with stakeholders.
