Eliassen Group is seeking a highly experienced ServiceNow Developer with a specialized focus on Discovery and Integrations to join our client’s team. This individual will be responsible for the design, implementation, administration, and development of ServiceNow solutions, ensuring efficient and effective service management operations. You will play a critical role in shaping and supporting the Service Management System (SMS), with an emphasis on Discovery, integrations, and supporting the SMS lifecycle.
This is a 100% remote 6-9 contract to hire role.
Due to our clients requirements candidate must be a U.S. citizen or green card holder who has resided in the U.S. for at least 3 years and the ability to obtain a public trust.
Rate: $60 - $80 / hr. w2
Responsibilities:
Top Qualifications, Skills, Experience, and Certifications:
12+ years of relevant IT experience, including 6+ years of experience in the administration of a major Service Management System (SMS), preferably ServiceNow.
Proficiency in ServiceNow Discovery and Integrations.
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Discovery (CIS-Disco) certification is required.
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementation & Development:
Perform implementation, administration, configuration, and development within the ServiceNow ITSM application suite.
Lead and support ServiceNow Discovery and integrations, ensuring smooth and seamless functionality.
- System Design & Support:
Design and manage the Service Management System (SMS) architecture, including overseeing engineers and supporting the SMS development lifecycle.
Ensure optimal performance and support of the SMS, including ensuring timely and accurate data imports and integrations.
- Integration Management:
Determine and implement the appropriate integration methods, including integration directionality and attributes.
Handle data normalization tasks, ensuring data quality prior to integration with ServiceNow.
- Discovery & Integration Operations:
Develop and maintain Discovery schedules and pattern usage.
Oversee the role of integrations within the discovery process.
Ensure the smooth functioning of SOAP/REST-based API integrations.
- Testing & Issue Resolution:
Participate in platform, process, and integration testing to ensure effective functionality.
Provide resolution for escalated SMS service requests and incidents, working closely with platform administrators to resolve critical issues.
- Lifecycle & Support:
Support the entire development lifecycle, applying SDLC and DevOps principles.
Perform on-call rotation, providing support during non-business hours (nights, weekends, holidays) as needed.
- Enterprise Integration Management:
- Fulfill the role of Enterprise Integration Manager, ensuring successful implementation of integration strategies across various systems.
Experience Requirements:
Extensive knowledge and experience with ServiceNow Discovery and Integrations.
Familiarity with SNMP technologies that support Discovery patterns.
Experience with SOAP/REST-based API integrations.
Experience working in complex environments that require large-scale ServiceNow implementations and integration solutions.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science (CS), or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (6 years of experience in lieu of a degree).
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
