Coordinator of Enrollment & Partnerships

Catholic Montessori Institute & Office of Enrollment Management

The Coordinator of Enrollment and Partnerships primarily supports the Executive Director of the Catholic Montessori Institute in various coordinating and recruitment-related tasks. This includes planning and executing the annual National Montessori Conference, coordinating institute activities, and recruiting for education programs and degree offerings. Assist with various special projects as assigned by the Executive Director.  Also, the Coordinator of Enrollment and Partnerships will assist UMary Online Enrollment Management team with other recruitment-related tasks. The ideal candidate will be proactive, highly organized, and possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

    Essential Roles and Responsibilities Include:

  • Provides logistical support for the Executive Director of the Catholic Montessori Institute. This includes the successful execution of recruitment retreats and institute activities. Recruits qualified prospective students and applicants for admission and enrollment within an assigned territory and achieves determined recruitment goals. Ensures each potential student receives a high level of customer service which includes verbal and written communication through phone calls, email, text, and personal visits. Assist prospective students with the application process, including the exploration of degree options, and works with student success advisors through the students’ start of classes.

  • Assist UMary Online team with other recruitment-related tasks and directed by the Senior Director of UMary Online.

  • Assist with inquiry generation strategy and implementation, including planning and conducting of recruitment events 

  • Attends and actively participates in admission and Catholic Montessori Institute staff meetings, training programs, and planning retreats.

    Desired Minimum Qualifications, Education, and Experience Include:

  • Required: Bachelor’s degree

  • Preferred: Master’s degree

  • Required: Successful experience in customer service, recruitment/sales, and administrative support role.

  • Preferred: Four years of sales and/or business to business marketing experience. Experience in a Montessori learning environment.

  • Upholds and supports the Christian, Catholic, Benedictine mission of the University of Mary

  • Supports the ongoing implementation of Ex Corde Ecclesiae, the apostolic constitution on Catholic colleges and universities.

  • Builds a culture of ready and earnest hospitality in the Office of Enrollment Management and throughout the university, in accord with Saint Benedict’s admonition that all be received as Christ.

    Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Commitment to high level of customer service

  • Advanced interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively and interact with prospective and current students, staff, and faculty.

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

  • Event planning and travel management skills.

  • Experience with establishing and maintaining client/prospect relationships throughout the community.

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite applications

  • Able to work independently and with a team of colleagues.

  • Safeguards the confidentiality of student information and departmental administration by exercising discretion in communicating information to faculty, staff, and current and prospective students, and in handling departmental records and files and similar confidential materials.

  • Must demonstrate the highest professional demeanor and ethics while representing the University of Mary

  • Possess a valid driver’s license.
