We are excited to bring on an Absence Consultant Support Specialist to join our Workplace Solutions Team in a remote environment.

As an Absence Consultant Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing support for pre-sales activities, installation of standard new business, provide support for inforce customers and collaborate with business stakeholders to define and validate information technology solutions. You will support and work in partnership with the Absence Consultants, Correspondence Consultants and Technology Consultants while focusing on groups under 1K lives. This opportunity will provide the ability to grow within the group insurance industry while gaining new skills and building strong working relationships. What you'll be doing

  • You will assist in finalist presentations up to 1K lives when assigned and complete assigned installations for those customers as well.

  • You will act as a resource to support cross functional teams in responding to routing Request for Proposal questionnaires and document reviews for their assigned areas. In addition, you will assist with routine projects for their assigned area and handles project related activities including submitting documentation required for implementation or inforce customer initiatives including but not limited to correspondence and system requirements.

  • You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to determine and develop technical specifications from business requirements by leveraging and applying knowledge. You will use structured requirements process, clearly articulates, documents, and validates technical requirements.

  • You will provide technical research and analysis to support business operations needs and presents findings to management or project leader.

  • You will triage and competes Account Change Requests including contact manager updates.

  • You will develop an understanding the business usage of information technology (IT) and helping technology add value to the business.

  • You may develop test plans and perform testing as needed and may update tables as needed.

What we’re looking for

Must-have experience (Required):

  • 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor's)

  • 1 - 3+ Years experience in business systems analysis or customer service, claims and/or leave administration that directly aligns with the specific responsibilities for this position.

  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal/written).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Nice-to have Experience (Preferred):

  • Experience working with multiple products.

  • Demonstrates excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining strict attention to detail.

  • Up to 10%

The pay range for this position is $53,500 - $92,500 with anticipated pay for new hires between the minimum and midpoint of the range and could vary above and below the listed range as permitted by applicable law. Pay is based on non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to work experience, education, location, licensure requirements, proficiency and qualifications required for the role. The base pay is just one component of Lincoln’s total rewards package for employees. In addition, the role may be eligible for the Annual Incentive Program, which is discretionary and based on the performance of the company, business unit and individual. Other rewards may include long-term incentives, sales incentives and Lincoln’s standard benefits package.
