Sales Manager - Products
Avanade is looking for Sales Managersfocused on our Products sectors within the Microsoft services ecosystem who will lead a small team and also drive sales themselves. This vertical includes but is not limited to Retail, Manufacturing, Consumer Goods, Professional services, etc.
You will lead a small team byidentifying high potential technology transformation deals both independently and in partnership with Microsoft todrivenew and incremental revenue byprospecting, partnering, acquiring, and developingnew and fast-growing business with clients. Next to this, you will have an individual sales targets and work alongside the others as a business developer.
Your team willbuilda pipeline for growth and shepherd deals through closure, including working with our legal team on contracts.
In addition to clients you work with directly, you willalso interactwith Microsoft's, new and current clients,gainreferrals from them, andform strong trust relationshipsthat open doors and close deals.
You will also maintain an extensive knowledge of current market conditions and applicable services and solutions.

What you'll do
Develop and lead a team of high performing sellers as you help define and align sales strategy with day to day field activities.

Buildandmaintainaccess to key businessdecision makersandgeneratingC-level contacts bynetworkingacross the marketplace.
Meet with Microsoft leaders togrowandmaintain various channel relationships.

Demonstrate and teachthe Avanade Sales Process, challenger selling and account management practices.
Manage your team's sales forecast and instilling good pipeline hygiene within your team.

Develop and deploy specificProducts use casesbased onexperience.
Occasionally travel to your client's site, as needed.
Skills and experiences
Experience evaluating Business Development Executives in services sellingacross multiple technology Solution areas (Applications & Infrastructure, Modern Workplace, Business Applications and Data & Artificial Intelligence),preferably enterprise scale consulting engagements that could include global delivery.

Experience anticipating, identifying, and applying fast, effective solutions to remove roadblocks circumstances on sales teams.
Success as a Sales Manager/hunterwithsophisticated closure capabilities

Ability to act as atrusted advisorin addressing our client's business needs.
Drivingsales teams in a solutions-selling environment at the C-suite level.
