Overview

Publicis Media Collective is seeking a skilled and motivated SVP, Business Analytics to join our analytics team. This role will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data for downstream analysis and will play a critical role in leveraging the power of data to inform decisions through the development of derived data sets, reusable tools and analytical frameworks, and sound business judgment. You will partner with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain high data quality standards and implement best practices for data management and analytics processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong logic and problem-solving skills, demonstrated ability to translate information into clearly communicated insights, an abundance of curiosity, and the ability to partner effectively across teams to deliver practical solutions to high-impact challenges.

Responsibilities

Role Objectives:

  • Lead the development of client-facing analyses, drawing clear connections between business objectives and recommended media plans

  • Lead the development of reusable tools and repeatable analytical frameworks to efficiently address routine business questions and enable data-driven decisions

  • Direct internal team members, stakeholders and external clients on the practical application of data to inform business decisions

  • Establish and safeguard data quality, collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure data quality, structure, accessibility and presentation meets business needs

  • Partner with platform and activation teams to develop and implement data quality standards and procedures, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of data across the organization

  • Oversee the ongoing validation and publication of operational data sets, preventing quality leaks from impairing downstream analysis and decisions

  • Lead the development of documentation and training materials for internal teams

  • Proactively identify opportunities to strengthen decisions through incremental or alternative data sources, lead accompanying evaluation and business case development process

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in finance, economics, marketing science or a related field

  • 10+ years of experience in leveraging data to drive business decisions and 5+ years of experience in client-facing decision support roles

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong understanding of data management principles and best practices for designing repeatable analysis

  • Demonstrated effectiveness in executing cross-functional initiatives involving oversight of technical roles (i.e., data engineering, data visualization, software development) preferred

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated attention to detail, managerial prowess, and ability to execute against multiple projects in parallel

  • Highly proficient in Tableau/Power BI/Looker, Excel; Proficiency in SQL, Python or R preferred

  • Strong project management skills

  • Automotive industry experience in an analytical role preferred; Automotive industry curiosity required

Compensation Range: $176,700 - $251,100 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
