Pensions Client Service Manager - Birmingham & Hybrid

Are you experienced in pensions and excel at fostering relationships with colleagues and external parties?

Do you enjoy the challenge of working with a diverse range of clients, each with unique needs, service requirements, and support teams?

We're seeking a Client Services Manager to become part of our Birmingham Pensions team. This hybrid position offers the flexibility to work remotely or from our Birmingham office.

What the day will look like

Working as part of our wider pensions team out of our Birmingham centre of excellence you will be the link between the delivery teams and both client facing teams and clients. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with a number of clients, you will work with each client to understand their own unique needs and requirements. You will be dealing with a range of activities across a portfolio of clients including:-

  • Day to day service discussions and reporting

  • Understanding requirements of client specific projects and annual events

  • Keeping track of actions and reporting on progress

  • Keeping abreast of service operating model and new client opportunities

    You will have the autonomy to plan your time to best service the needs of the clients in your portfolio. The needs of our clients are ever-developing and our service model evolves to ensure we keep deliver the best service for those clients and their members. You will be part of that culture and, for your clients be “the glue that helps it all stick together”. You will be part of a team and supported by wider expertise and delivery specialists. You will regularly interact with those delivery teams and client teams and in some cases directly with clients.

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Pensions experience or background

  • Strong relationship building

  • Ability to manage activities across multiple clients

  • Desire to provide a service that exceeds expectations

  • Team worker but ability to work autonomously
