Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Sr. Recruiter in the retail industry. Based in BIRMINGHAM, Alabama, this position will play a pivotal role in managing the full cycle of recruiting processes. The successful candidate will work closely with various teams to ensure our company attracts, hires and retains top talent.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective recruiting strategies

• Utilize various channels such as Indeed and other platforms to source potential candidates

• Conduct initial screening of candidates, assessing suitability based on job requirements

• Manage the interview process, coordinating schedules and providing feedback to candidates

• Utilize cold calling techniques to reach out to potential candidates

• Maintain comprehensive records of all candidates and recruiting activities

• Provide regular reporting on recruiting activities and candidate status

• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand specific role requirements and desired skills

• Manage relationships with external recruiting agencies when needed

• Ensure all recruiting activities adhere to applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Proficiency in full cycle recruiting, including identifying, sourcing, and engaging with potential candidates

• Expertise in corporate recruiting strategies and best practices

• Strong knowledge of and experience with Indeed or similar job posting platforms

• Demonstrated ability to effectively use cold calling as a recruiting technique

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with both candidates and hiring managers

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple open positions at once

• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding recruiting targets and goals

• Familiarity with current employment laws and regulations

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred

• Prior experience in a lead recruiting role preferred
