Basic Job Functions:
Nucor Tubular Products Birmingham is seeking to fill the position of A ccountant . The responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to: Month end closing process and preparation of monthly financial statements and reports, provide various cost analysis and divisional comparisons, apply and understand Internal Control processes, credit review and cash control, proactively seeking improvements and expanding technical knowledge, participate on various process improvement teams.

Minimum Qualifications:
4-year B.S. Accounting/Finance
Understanding and knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley and GAAP
2 or more years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Accounting experience in a manufacturing company
CPA, CMA, or master's degree in Accounting or Business
Willing to relocate for future job opportunities within Nucor
