Optiv GTM Enablement Manager | Remote, USA in Birmingham, Alabama

This position can be hired remotely anywhere within the continental U.S.

We want a person who is passionate about making a difference to help others achieve their potential to join our growing Enablement Team. The Enablement Manager is a key role to enhancing the knowledge and skills of the sales and client facing teams to exceed revenue targets and strengthen professional development as well as collaborate with the Enablement Team to support additional enablement initiatives as needed. This role will focus on specific topics throughout all stages of the sales process including strategic planning, account management, sales/GTM motions and market and vertical segments related to Optiv services and launches.

This role will work with Optiv leadership and specific roles to collaborate in the creation, execution, delivery and reinforcement of established enablement programs (strategic planning, playbook, sales plays, etc.) and creation of bespoke segment and role-based/vertical programs with measurable results including working with SMEs. Currently, the programs are self-paced eLearnings, virtual modules and in-person instruction. The Enablement Manager reports to the Director of GTM Operations & Enablement.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Assess business needs and prioritize results including enablement requests.

  • Develop and deliver dynamic enablement assets (playbooks, videos, resources, knowledge checks, accreditations) in multiple formats (online, ILT, self-paced, video) on the complete range of Optiv’s solutions by partnering cross-functionally with Optiv SMEs.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments (HR, Services, Alliances) to align/include additional enablement topics.

  • Define, develop, track and communicate business impact metrics.

  • Deliver Command of the Message training as applicable in virtual and in-person settings and maintain/refresh Value Framework.

What we're looking for

  • Demonstrated experience developing, delivering, maintaining/refreshing and measuring sales (client-facing) programs across various market segments in one-to-one settings, traditional classroom formats and web-based platforms.

  • Demonstrated experience creating appropriate content for enablement programs.

  • 5+ years in Sales and/or Sales Enablement role.

  • Strong knowledge of sales methodologies, processes & techniques, current certification in Force Management, Command of the Message strongly preferred.

  • Cybersecurity experience preferred.

  • B.A. or B.S. required.

  • Experience with enablement platforms.

  • Familiarity with MEDDIC qualification framework.

  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, communication and presentation skills.

  • Knowledge of instructional design process, program design principles and practices.

  • Advanced applications skills (specifically Microsoft Office, Articulate Rise, Camtasia).

  • Strong project and time management skills with an ability to set and maintain priorities to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to be challenged and navigate ambiguity.

Salary Range Description

$108,100.00 - $144,000.00 Annual

The Hiring Range provided for this role is informed by (but not limited to) various factors including responsibilities of the position, work experience, education/training, internal peer equity, geography, as well as other market influences when extending an offer. The disclosed range has not been adjusted for these factors. This role may also be eligible to participate in a variable incentive-based bonus plan. Optiv offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package, of which salary is a component.
