We are looking for technicians who will help shape the future of energy solutions and have the chance to dive into a dynamic role where your skills in Geographic Information Systems will power our innovative projects, ensuring efficient, reliable, and sustainable energy delivery across the region. This position is set up as a long-term contract and starts on-site for training purposes. Must be within commuting distance from Birmingham, AL. Please apply if you meet the qualifications below.For immediate consideration, please send your resume to Natalie at [emailprotected]Qualification requirements:High School Diploma or equivalent requiredBachelor's degree (Geography, GIS, or similar field), GIS Certificate, or at least 2 years of full time GIS work experience is requiredPower Distribution knowledge is a plusExperience with ESRI ArcGIS software required; experience with ESRI ArcGIS Pro software is a plusCompetency with standard computer software, to include Microsoft Office suite is requiredCapable of working in a team environment is requiredExperience with CAD is a plusFlexible to work 40 hours per week, M-F, in an office environment in Birmingham, Alabama.Shifts may be 8 or 10 hours per day, starting as early as 7am and ending as late as 5pm. Flexible to work remotely (from home) as well. Remote work requires stable broadband Internet connection of 20mb/s or capable of supporting remote desktop connections over VPN and is responsibility of worker.
