Job Title: Electrician

Job Description

We're on the lookout for a Journeyman level Service Electrician to handle a variety of tasks. As a part of our team, your responsibilities will include troubleshooting electrical and lighting malfunctions, repairing electrical issues, LED retrofits, servicing illuminated signs, and repairing parking lot lighting systems. You will also be tasked with installing electrical wiring in commercial buildings. We prioritize safety and accuracy, so we need someone who pays great attention to safety precautions, electrical code and project details. The ideal candidate must have experience in troubleshooting electrical issues.

Hard Skills

• Proven experience as an electrician

• Experience in industrial and commercial electrical systems

• Ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter etc.)

• Knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines

• Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code

• Valid driver’s license

• Clear DOT / Drug screen

• Ability to troubleshoot common electrical issues

• Ability to work at various heights (ladder, bucket truck, etc.)

• Experience operating lifts and bucket trucks

• 3 years’ experience in the electrical field

• Preferred - Journeyman card

• Preferred – Class B CDL

• Ability to work mostly unsupervised

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Birmingham, Alabama.

Work Environment

This position requires the ability to work in various heights (ladder, bucket truck, etc.) and mostly unsupervised. You should also be prepared to operate lifts and bucket trucks as needed. Safety is of utmost importance in this role, so adherence to safety procedures and legal regulations is mandatory.
