The Team and Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Economic Damages & Valuations team. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial, highly driven person with a well-rounded skill set. The ideal person for this role will need to not only have a strong grasp of accounting and finance, but also be flexible and a strategic thinker able to take on a variety of tasks.
Job Responsibilities
Assignments generally involve financial investigations, economic damages analyses and business valuation analyses for businesses and/or individuals involved in complex financial challenges and controversies across multiple industries including financial services, insurance, healthcare, construction/real estate, manufacturing, and energy.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of working experience
Postgraduate degree including, but not limited to Master of Business Administration, Master of Accountancy, Master of Science in Finance, Master of Arts in Economics or Master of Science in Applied Statistics.
Minimum overall undergraduate GPA of 3.5.
Have general computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Exhibit excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
Physical and Mental Job Qualifications
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to commute to our local office in downtown Birmingham, AL on a hybrid schedule (Monday & Fridays remote; Tuesday-Thursday in the office)
