We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in Birmingham, Alabama. This role involves supporting both internal and external customers offers the flexibility to work a hybrid work schedule. This Accounts Receivable Specialist is a contract to full-time position.

Responsibilities:

• Handle inbound calls from customers, addressing any inquiries about payments

• Facilitate payments over the phone as required

• Respond to billing and payment questions via email

• Maintain a high level of customer service in all interactions

• Conduct bank and cash reconciliations as part of financial management tasks

• Use Microsoft Excel for basic data management and analysis

• Utilize Microsoft Outlook for email correspondence and schedule management

• Adapt to changes in the work environment and tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) and Collections is essential

• Competency in using Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel is required

• Ability to handle Email Correspondence efficiently

• Strong Customer Service skills are a must

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations

• Cash Reconciliations skills are crucial
