Broome-Tioga BOCES Program Assistant in Binghamton, New York
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plans, coordinates, and oversees special projects
Organizes and maintains central filing systems
Maintains program data for School Health Services and Adult Health Career Education
Direct support for School Health Services and assistance for Adult Health Careers
Attends meetings and maintains reports
Maintains all records for health careers supervisor and district medical director
Maintains all school medical records per health careers supervisor
May assist staff professional in planning and administering in-service training programs
Job Qualifications
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from a NYS registered or regionally accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree, OR
Graduation from a NYS registered or regionally accredited college or university with an Associate’s Degree and two years of clerical experience in an office setting which must have involved maintaining electronic records in a database or spreadsheet applications; OR
Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma and four years of clerical experience in an office setting which must have involved maintaining electronic records in a database or spreadsheet application; OR
An equivalent combination of training and experience as outlined by the limits of A), B) and C) above.
