UHS Lymphedema Therapist in Binghamton, New York
Lymphedema Therapist, UHS Binghamton General Hospital United Health Services is seeking a Lymphedema Therapist to join our BGH Occupational Therapy department at UHS Binghamton General Hospital in Binghamton, NY. This position is benefits eligible.

$37.45 - $59.38 per hour, depending on experience.
Overview
Ensures that lymphedema therapy services are administered and completed in a timely accurate, and reliable manner. Provides occupational or physical therapy patient evaluation and treatments for outpatient and/or in patient services, as well as associated clinical documentation. Maintains specific service delivery standards which address commitment to service, customer satisfaction, ongoing evaluation of customer expectations, integration with quality process, communication and interaction standards, turnaround time and information processing standards, corporate compliance requirements, and physical amenities/environment of care.
Qualifications
Education/Experience
Minimum Required:
- Graduate of an accredited school of occupational or physical therapy, receiving applicable degree or certificate in occupational or physical therapy course of study, with Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent
Preferred:
Master’s or Doctorate Degree
Previous clinical experience in lymphedema therapy
Previous clinical experience in hospital-based inpatient services and/or outpatient therapy services
License/Certification
Minimum Required:
Possession of a NYS license or eligibility to be licensed as an occupational or physical therapist
CPR certification within first three months of employment
Certification in Lymphedema Therapy and Complete Decongestive Therapy to be completed within first 3 months of hire
Preferred:
National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) certified
Lymphology Association of Northern America (LANA) certification
