PDS Tech Commercial is hiring a Facilities Maintenance Field Technician in Brewster, NY to support multiple facilities with expert troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair work.

Pay: $36.00/hr. – Temp to Perm

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 1st Shift

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Perform hands-on maintenance – Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain m echanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire safety, and life safety systems across multiple facilities.

• HVAC System Maintenance – Clean, inspect, calibrate, and change parts to keep HVAC equipment at peak performance.

• Plumbing & Electrical Work – Diagnose and repair pipes, sinks, water heaters, urinals, flush valves, wiring, and electrical panels.

• Facility & Equipment Upkeep – Handle structural, furniture, and general maintenance to keep buildings safe and operational.

• Monitor & Document System Performance – Record readings, adjust equipment settings, and maintain compliance with all safety regulations.

• Inventory & Tool Management – Conduct periodic checks on tools, equipment, and maintenance materials.

• Vendor Oversight – Monitor the quality and pricing of work performed by outside contractors.

• Ensure Safety & Compliance – Follow OSHA guidelines, proper hazardous material storage protocols, and building safety codes.

What We’re Looking For:

High School Diploma or Equivalent

5-7 years of experience in commercial building systems maintenance

Strong background in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and facility maintenance

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical and building system issues

EPA 608 Type II Certification

Proficiency with basic computer applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Valid Driver’s License

Preferred Qualifications (A Huge Plus! ):

EPA 608 Universal Certification

Trades Schooling in Electrical System Design, Refrigeration, or HVAC

Pay Details: $36.00 to $37.00 per hour
