Introduction to Kornmarken -

Kornmarkenis our manufacturing sites in Denmark, where we have a dual strategy. One is to produce injectionmouldingLEGO Elements in an efficient way. The other is to qualify new manufacturing technology in close collaboration with our Engineering functions. The factory is located in KOM Campus which is an inspiring environment consisting of manufacturing, R&D and engineering functions.

This Vice President position will ensure the factory operates at its optimum level and is quickly up to pace with the market needs. This role will report directly to our SVP & GM of EMEA Manufacturingand is a key member of the EMEA Manufacturing leadership team. EMEA Manufacturing consist of three factories, namelyKornmarken, the Kladno factory in Czech Republic and the Nyiregyhaza factory in Hungary, which is also the location for ourSVP & GM of EMEA Manufacturing

As Vice PresidentKornmarkenManufacturing, this role will hold significant leadership accountability for the teams operating 500+ molding machines running 24/7 throughout the year with the aim that all the elements (LEGO ® bricks) produced will support our Packing sites who delivers finishedproducts to ourmarkets.

The organization currently has around 600 people, at different levels, ultimately reporting up to this role. This covers the full supply chain from production, quality, engineering, logistics, maintenance, digitalization and high bay warehouses.

The Vice President runs the Manufacturing site in Billund independently and will be a key team member within the GlobalMouldingWheel which is the forum in which global initiatives and priorities forMouldingare aligned with our other manufacturing sites; Monterrey, Mexico; Kladno, Czech Republic;Nyíregyháza, Hungary; and Jiaxing, China along with two new sites: Vietnam and Virginia, USA.

Core Responsibilities:

Heading up our manufacturing site in Billund , you will oversee the ongoing optimization of our manufacturing capabilities, ensuring alignment with both local labor market and company standards. But also deeply involved in qualifying new technology in collaboration with engineering areas.

You will continue to develop and enhance the organization, leveraging resources and experience from our other global locations to maintain high standards and values consistent across our organization.

This position provides strategic and day-to-day leadership to the employees and business processes of LEGO Manufacturing Kornmarken. This individual is responsible for the achievement of Key Performance Indicators set by the company, which include but are not limited to:

•Lead the team; ensuring their safety, development and building an engaged workforce, motivated culture, using feedback, coaching, mentoring, empowerment etc.

•Establish and ensure compliance of the main area critical metrics, ensuring proper actions are in place to keep them on track.

•Coordinate with other members of EMEA Manufacturing leadership team.

•Define clear objectives for organization, ensuring their deployment, employee alignment, establishment of the required actions and ensure their execution.

•Ensure the correct flow of information within the organization and between other areas.

•Manage robust development plans for the talent withinKornmarkenManufacturing as well as its leadership team.

•Continuously improve the performance of people, processes and systems.

•Perform periodic performance reviews in formal and informal assessments and address any vital development areas.

•Foster business proximity with other sites, securing global collaboration and coherence.

•Drive global tasks to support the development of theMouldingarea.

•Establish a recurring basis program of continuous improvement and LEAN approach.

•Ensure resources and competences within the team, following up their development evaluation.

•Establish long and short term projects to reach the area goals.

•Identify and follow-up opportunities for productivity and improvements.

•Ensure implementation of Digitalization & Automatization activities, and serving as a qualification site for new technologies.

•Take ownership of the appropriate integration and/or implementation of the QEHS System within the operational processes and ensure its effectiveness.

Do you have what it takes ?

•Well developed leadership experience within a production or manufacturing environment. Ideally mass production and/ or plastics in a multinational company with a factory network globally.

•Senior leadership experience at the head of a large and diverse organization.

•Understanding/ experience of the plastics injectionmouldingprocess

•Experience working internationally and with the desire to continue an international career.

•Strong experience to work collaboratively in matrix organizations, role modeling processes and governance.

•Tactful communication skills with maturity in managing governmental relationships to enable smooth operation.

•Fluent English language skills required.
